Julie Zuckerberg, the current US Talent Acquisition Lead of Deutsche Bank, is known for hiring the right talents in the quickest and easiest way. Since she started her career more than a decade ago, Zuckerberg was very keen on channeling all the possible ways to get the best talent in all the industries she worked with. Her managers were delighted with her ability to make it happen in the quickest and easiest way. When she is working with one of the best banks in the world, the story is not different, and she leads the team of recruiters to get the right people. In her current role at Deutsche Bank, Zuckerberg is primarily developing and negotiating senior positions like Managing Director for different departments under US business such as Asset Management, GTO, Infrastructure and Private, Commercial, and Wealth clients. The senior leadership of the firm and executive committees consult with her on recruitment strategies including hiring governance, best practices, attracting best talents, etc. She works as the mentor to various hiring teams and provides them strategic directions. Zuckerberg works as the spoke of diversity initiatives and drives regional and global talent objectives. Zuckerberg started her career with Hudson as the Director of Candidate Placement with responsibilities such as hiring paralegals, attorneys, support staff, case managers, etc. She took care of hirings at both temporary and permanent positions. She also worked as a communication channel between management and the staff by providing updates and information on benefits, working condition, etc. Later, Zuckerberg joined Citi as the Vice President with the responsibility of NA Professional & Executive Recruitment. In the role, she assisted the firm with full-cycle recruitment on senior roles such as Director and Managing Director for various departments. Julie counseled the market trends, recruiting strategies, compensation trends, the flow of talent pattern, etc., to the senior leadership of the firm. She was also instrumental in framing complex job offers and negotiating with the candidates in the best way that could be mutually beneficial to both the company and the employees. Zuckerberg worked with various teams to source talents globally and monitored issues related to the expatriate process and international relocation. After leaving Citi, she worked with New York Life Insurance Company for four months as Experienced Hire Recruiting Lead before joining Deutsche Bank.
Zuckerberg completed her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the City University of New York-Brooklyn College. She continued her studies in Law and completed J.D. from New York Law School. Her hobbies include reading, interior designing, food, traveling, and architecture. Julie is a fitness freak and loves running, cycling, trekking, etc., and she has written a number of blogs on workouts and healthy living. She is a strong proponent of human rights, animal welfare, science, technology, etc., and spends a significant amount of her time and money in philanthropy.
